A duo of Hyaluronic Acids providing hydration and firmness for healthy skin

Hyaluronic Acid can have different “sizes”, this is referred to as the molecular weight.

High molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid, thanks to its strong hygroscopic power, helps maintain water on the skin surface and thus acts as a water reservoir. A real shield, it will form a non-occlusive protective film on the skin against external aggressions which could damage the lipid barrier of the epidermis, and lead to significant desquamation of the stratum corneum.

Low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid can increase skin firmness quite remarkably by stimulating the synthesis of collagen I which represents approximately 80% of dermal collagen. It is also able to increase the proliferation of fibroblasts (cells of the dermis, synthesising the molecules that support the skin).

The combined action of these two molecular weights of Hyaluronic Acid provides the skin with hydration, protection and firmness, a powerful duo for preserving our skin’s youthfulness.
