Rambutan
(Nephelium lappaceum L.)
Native to Asia, Rambutan is a large tropical tree that can live up to a hundred years. It consists of large branches with emerald foliage. Its fruit is widespread in Asia.
Deliciously tangy and sweet, in Indonesian it means “hairy lychee”.
For hundreds of years, Rambutan has been used in Malaysia and Indonesia in treatments for diabetes and high blood pressure.
While the active ingredient used in our products comes from the leaf, the rest of the plant is used in upcycling. Rich in carbohydrates, proteins and vitamin C, its antioxidant and anti-wrinkle properties are astounding.
