White Tea
(Camellia sinensis)
Cultivated in Asia for millennia, tea is widely used in traditional medicine.
White Tea, Camellia Sinensis or Yinzhen Tea, is cultivated in China at high altitudes. It is the most beneficial for health because it remains very pure. The leaves are taken from the young buds when the plant comes out of its winter period and produces all the antioxidant molecules it contains. Once harvested, white tea is not fermented or dehydrated but simply dried in the sun. This gentle drying process preserves the high concentration of antioxidant polyphenols.
It contains three times more antioxidants than green tea!
Incorporated into cosmetic products, white tea tightens pores, soothes and evens out the skin.
