Macadamia
(Macadamia)
Native to the Australian rainforests where it is commonly known as the Queensland nut, the Macadamia nut seduces with its smooth and crunchy texture and its light coconut aroma.
Hidden in a brown shell covered by a green envelope, it is found in the Macadamia. This tree, with dark green foliage, sees its small flowers bloom in magnificent white clusters in spring.
Fond of hot climates, today it mainly adorns Australian and Hawaiian landscapes, where it has become a considerable symbol. Delicious eaten raw or cooked, it is rich in oil, and offers the skin and hair its precious nourishing properties.
