Blue Microalgae
(Phormidium persicinum)
In the 1940s, Italian researcher Luigi Provasoli studied the conditions of cultivating algae. He discovered a new species of cyanobacteria, the Blue Microalgae. Made up of small filaments, it is microscopic.
Blue Microalgae is extremely resistant. It can live absolutely anywhere, including in environments hostile to life like polar ice caps, desert coasts, volcanic craters and geysers. It can be found everywhere!
This algae has antioxidant, redensifying and lightening properties. It is cultivated in France on the Brittany coast.
